TG Loadcells offers a wide range of professional weighing accessories, such as load cell amplifiers, load cell indicators, load cell digital module, load cell signal high-speed collector, wireless transceiver, weighbridge junction box, etc. Weighing indicators can be used to read and transmit signals; load cell amplifiers and digital module are used to convert load cell signals to analog or digital signals, wireless transceiver can transmit load cell signals over long distances, and the receiving end can be matched with indicators or amplifiers. All of our weighing accessories are designed to make your weighing process more convenient, efficient and safe.
A load cell is a device that is used to measure weight or force. When a force is applied to it in a specific manner, a load cell for sale produces an output signal that is proportional to the applied force.
We can judge the working status of the sensor by the following parameters
Under the specified excitation voltage, a zero load output greater than the manufacturer's specification is a good indication that the load cell may have been damaged. This is usually the case after the sensor is overloaded, It may also be caused by humidity.
The zero load output of the load cell is unstable under the rated excitation voltage, which may be caused by the leakage of the load cell circuit due to moisture. Such instability will occur during the weighing process, resulting in failure to read.
Judge the internal circuit status of the load cell by measuring the output/input Resistance and the resistance of the adjacent arm. It is worth mentioning that, in order to adjust the output sensitivity of the load cell sensor amplifier, the load cell manufacturer will slightly increase the input Resistance of the load cell. For a 350Ω load cell, the input Resistance is generally around 380Ω.
Insulation resistance is a good indication of the integrity of a load cell. We can test it with a hand-cranked electric meter. Generally the insulation resistance should be greater than 5000MΩ
